Role Scope & Purpose:

With ambitious plans for growth, we are looking to recruit a Data Collection Manager, part of the wider Operations Team, responsible for establishing and leading our Data Collection operation, servicing our key data partners.

Reporting directly to the Operations Director, the successful candidate will lead a new, Collections Operation initially envisaged to be based out of Leeds, UK.

Key Accountabilities:

The role will have several accountabilities to the Operations Director, in particular they will:

  • Oversee and manage our collection operations facilities to ensure data is collected according in line with customer expectations / contractual commitments
  • Work with Operations Director and Customer Support Team to address any queries relating to data
  • Work with Engineering to manage the collections management system infrastructure ensuring collected data is made available in a timely manner and in expected format for client use
  • Help recruit, train and then oversee collections staff including full-time supervisors and part-time casual staff
  • Coordinate with the Finance department in order to manage staff payments & benefits
  • Establish relevant SLA’s, processes and reports required to manage collections department
  • Work with product managers/directors to develop and implement a roadmap for enhancement of collection management tool

Key Requirements:

  • Have a keen interest in a wide variety of sports but, in particular, a passion for tennis
  • Experience of managing a collections management system, with experience in internal system enhancement and development; and proven ability to deliver a system improvement roadmap
  • Line management experience, including managing parallel workloads and diverse projects, setting objectives and targets and managing the performance of a team
  • Experience of information management and information & system requirements gathering, preferably within data, sports/betting or both
  • Be highly organised with attention to detail, be someone who is obsessive about accuracy and with a high pressure tolerance
  • Comfortable with regular travel within UK
