TennisViz, part of the Ellipse group, is the world leader in using algorithmic software to process player and ball tracking data to create ground-breaking analysis in real time. Our unique automated software captures every shot, situation, phase, and tactic, which are the foundation of a new set of performance metrics called TennisViz Insights.


Role Scope & Purpose:

With ambitious plans for growth, we are looking to recruit a team of tennis data collectors for a pioneering tennis data project. The role will be directly responsible for the input of tennis data into our collection database and servicing our key data partners.

Reporting directly to the Data Collection Manager, the successful candidate will be an integral member of a new collections operations team based out of our office in Leeds UK.

Job Type: Casual Part Time

Key Accountabilities:

The role will entail:

  • Accurately collecting key data points from a stream showing live tennis matches.
  • Working closely with the wider tennis data collection team in order to ensure key match data is captured accurately and according to the schedule.
  • Liaise with team members addressing any potential queries relating to the data.
    • Full training and equipment will be provided.

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • A keen interest in tennis, in particular the ATP tour.
  • Full knowledge and understanding of the laws of the game.
  • Be highly organized with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Enjoy working in a highly pressurized environment.
  • Willingness to work weekends and evenings since this role will reflect the ATP schedule.
  • Able to reliably commute to Leeds office or plan to relocate to Leeds before starting work
